Enter two initial cards and the dealer’s upcard. The result will include its rule set and fallback action.
What this calculator does
It classifies your initial two-card hand, chooses the matching rule table and returns an action with its fallback. The answer is a strategy lookup, not a forecast of the next card.
Pairs are checked first, then soft hands, then hard totals, in the same order as the blackjack chart. An ace with a ten-value card is reported as a natural blackjack, which is settled rather than played.
Enter the table rules
Choose one, two or four to eight decks, S17 or H17, double after split and late surrender. The lookup assumes standard US peek rules. It does not calculate expected value, house edge or winning probability.
Read the fallback
A double recommendation includes hit or stand when doubling is unavailable. Surrender recommendations identify the action to take when surrender is unavailable. If a split is prohibited, evaluate the hand as a hard or soft total.
